Bearing Witness Day

Bearing witness day is a practice to be presence in the spirit of mindfulness with direct encounters with the 'other side' across the fence.

We will bring the intention to be with ourselves, our perceptions and knowledge and we will cross the fence to meet with open minds the locals Palestinian and settlers - in a human encounter that is always unexpected and unknown.

We will meet at the checkpoint next to Meitar and travel together, in the private cars. Then we will meet the residents of southern Hebron hills, the realities of their lives and have lunch together. We will close the day with a shared reverberation of the experiences of the day.
